Our team consists of 25+ people whose expertise and knowledge span the areas of graphic design, product design, mould development, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemistry, manufacturing and marketing.
Our multi-disciplinary approach enables you to source a broad range of different products from one single supplier. Along with an initial briefing on your project we are able to provide a complete product solution, from an initial idea to the final product. Most of the time our customers, distributors of promotional products, already have a clear picture about what kind of product they need. If you read through this page you will easily recognize that our focus lies in the development and the production of custom made promotional products. All of our products are manufactured at our own facilities here in Zagreb, Croatia.
Drago Ružić
- director and co-founder, aka The Big Boss
In his early youth people gave him the nickname Grunf, based on a popular cartoon figure famous for his innovative approach when solving problems. Besides doing what directors do, from time to time he still enjoys getting involved in production processes himself. This refers to solving construction problems and adapting already existing machinery to new project requirements. Occasionally, he’ll even create a new machine from scratch. An electrical engineer by background, after 10 years of managerial experience in Končar, one of the biggest manufacturing companies in former Yugoslavia, he decided it was time to take the leap and founded PES in 1992.
Ljiljana Ružić
- finance and human resources
Armed with a degree in business administration, Ljiljana is the good soul of our company. As her husband Drago often says: “Without Ljiljana the train would have already hit the wall a long time ago.” Contact person for anything human resources or finance related. In 1992, after spending 10 years at Končar, she decided to support her husband Drago in founding PES.
Katarina Ružić Baraba

Katarina manages and oversees our production processes, making sure your project goes as planned and no detail is overseen. After graduating in business administration, she first worked for a global auditing company named Ernst&Young for a few years. During this time she has been primarily assessing the operational processes of diverse production companies. She has already been contributing to PES before her studies, and joined PES as an official employee in 2007.
Ivica Baraba
- customer relations and marketing
Ivica grew up in Germany which gave him German manners and made him the type of person who likes things to go smoothly. He is working in sales because he enjoys to meet new people and develop longterm partnerships. After having spent a year in Madrid, he moved to Zagreb in 2002. After a few years working in other family-owned businesses and parallely doing an MBA, he finally decided to take over responsibility in his own family business. Ivica is a native German speaker, fluent in Croatian, English and Spanish.
Julijana Jularić
- customer relations and office management
Julijana’s voice is the first you’re going to hear after you’ve dialed +385 1 655 39 52. She is the connecting piece between you and the production and keeps you updated on all important news relating your project. She’s been at PES since 2008.
Marko Kahlina
- graphic design and print
He was meant to be a rock star, but nowadays channels his creativity into visual media. Using programs like Corel and Photoshop, Marko will offer you insight into possibilities of custom made production. Graphics technician by vocation, he’s been with PES since 2005.
Tomislav Dukarić
- 3D design, prototyping and construction solutions
Tomislav continuously develops new products for PES clients. Using computer-assisted visualization and prototyping, he will make your product tangible before the mold is made and the product enters mass production. Tomislav is a mechanical engineer and has been with PES from 2005.
Anita Borić Runje
- galvanization
Anita has a degree in chemistry and does her magic with copper, nickel, brass, tin, silver, gold and patina. She has been working in galvanization for a total of six years and joined our team in 2010.
Zlatko Bartolić
- tool making and servicing, construction solutions
Toolmaker by vocation, he has been active in the field since 1973. To relieve the stress caused by tight deadlines, Zlatko regularly goes fishing. He joined PES team in 2003.
